AP Rates Available Some Weekends ????

Mousesavers reports that AP rates out through 6/6 are "not available weekends at some resorts."

Question...Which resorts is the AP rate available on weekends?

I was wondering if anyone went through this already with the CM's? It has become such a process to call WDW ressies these days I thought I'd do some information searching prior to the call.

Annual Passholder Room-Only Discounts

Stay dates: 4/19/09-6/6/09. (Some dates may be blacked out.) Use code EDB. Compare these rates with regular "Rack" rates. Rates not available on weekends (Friday and Saturday nights) at some resorts.

Sample rates:

Value resort, Standard view: $64 plus tax
Moderate resort, Standard view: $94 plus tax
Animal Kingdom Lodge, Standard view: $164 plus tax
Saratoga Springs, Studio: $154 plus tax (Friday and Saturday)
Saratoga Springs, Studio: $199 plus tax (Sunday-Thursday)
Other resorts and room types are available at varying rates!

I haven't spoken with any CM's, but I was able to get an AP rate on Sat., May 23 at the Poly, BC/YC, CR and CBR going through the passholder website.

Looks to be about 30-35% - the Poly was $415 regular, $289 with AP discount. CBR was $195 regular, $129 with AP.

Well, one answer is right in the information you quoted from my site:

Saratoga Springs, Studio: $154 plus tax (Friday and Saturday)

The easiest way to check is to log into the AP area of the DisneyWorld.com site, find the offer and click through from there. Then try different dates and resorts.

I noticed that on the Passholder site rates for Saturday nights were actually less than for weeknights. I didn't expect that at all,and it doesn't make sense to me.

Mary, When I called WDW why is there availibility for rooms/resorts not shown when using the passholder site? For example, GV Room at GF are available, why not on the PAssholder site?


Was hoping for a good rate at the GF but it doesn't seem the rooms are discounted...My 40th Birthday is approaching and I am hoping to be at WDW for it.

I was able to get an AP rate on the weekend of my May trip. Saturday May 30th I got a passholder rate for my CSR Waterview room. The other dates of my stay are weekday.
