AP Rates, are they available in April?

I'm new to this so please put up with this question.

Are AP Rates usually only available for certain times of the year?

I assume they don't offer them for the days around Easter?

You won't get as big of one, for sure, and they probably don't offer as many, but you may still get one. The trick will be getting in there early as possible. This means bugging the heck out of CRO until April.

As soon as I think I understand what they will or won't do they do something I'd never have expected. Call today - ask about AP rates for April. They'll probably say no. This doesn't mean there never will be, just that there aren't any now. Ask if they know when there will be some, they'll probably say they don't know (maybe someone will give you a hint.) Call back in a week or so, rinse and repeat.... eventually they'll be so sick of you that they'll knock off at least 10%.
Also, for this year, you might could get a Disney Club rate.

VB Family-

Checked my handy-dandy discount page that I printed from mousesavers and it shows last year's AP rates as: 1/1-2/13, 2002 (available 12/5/01) and 4/21-9/30, 2002 (available 1/24/02).

The discount rates shown for the earlier part of April were certain state codes (they became available 1/6/02) adn last minute promo packages (rooms plus park hoppers) that became available 2/27 and 3/18, 2002.

How can I pull all this info. together? Cause I am way too anal and have a 3-ring binder with each section devoted to something WDW (this is from the discounts and specials section) LOL.

Maybe then you know what type of discount was that last minute promo package w/ park hopper? The way I see it on mousesavers that might be the only discount they might offer when I go in March.
