AP RATES and VWL

I am an annual passholder for the 3rd year in a row. ON all of my past trips I have had no luck, despite almost daily checking, on getting an AP rate on a one bedroon villa for WL in the off season( January and Sept.). We are seriously looking at buying DVC at VWL. Would like to try it with my AP first. I have had luck finding a studio at AP rate, but never the 1 bedroom. I was even able, With daily checking, to find the Beach Club,(which can be hard to find) 1 bedroom available. I know VWL is smaller and thus less availablity. Just wanted to know if anyone had any luck.
