AP rates after Thanksgiving doubtful?

Hubby mentioned us throwing in a quick getaway trip without the kids for a few nights leaving that Friday after Thanksgiving. (We have APs.) He doesn't have to go back to work until Wednesday so we could do a Saturday thru Tuesday stay. I'm assuming there wouldn't be any AP rates for then? It appears it is value, though. Think there is still availability or no?

I went last year at Thanksgiving and made the ressies three days prior to arrival. I had no problem getting a room at POR and at a good rate. Make a list of the resorts you want to stay at and call. There is almost always something available somewhere on Disney property. Good luck!

We have used our AP's the last three years for the weekend/week after Thanksgiving. Last year we arrived on Thanksgiving day and had to pay rack for one night then had a second reservation for Friday for 10 more nights at the AP rate.
