what is the ap rate I see throughout this site? who is qualified to receive it?

The AP rate means a discounted rate for a Disney Owned and Operated resort that is only good for someone who has an Annual Pass (AP).

AP stands for Annual Pass- during the year they offer room and other discounts for people who have purchased an annual pass. I have an annual pass and I was able to get the AP discount for my room at the CBR. It is often quite a good discount!
