PLEASE PLEASE release the codes so we can stop looking at computer all day..

We want to stay on site but cannot afford it this trip without some codes. We are even planning on staying a few extra days if we can get some CODES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to jump in-we are waiting for codes for our Nov trip. I called last week and asked if the success of the FTP would mean no AP rates. I was told by the CM "oh we'll have codes, we always take care of our AP holders," So now it's wait, wait, wait.... I wish they would come on-I SOOOO want to stay at the Poly but the AAA discount ain't gonna get me there!!

Anyone call yet today? I'm restraining myself at the moment. My calls will end up negating any AP discount! I have to admit that I love to dial that Disney number though!

I'm off to an appt. If we have no updates within a few hours, I'll call when I get back home. Someone surprise me with good news!!

Thanks for sharing guys! Let's hope those fall discount codes come out sooner than 8/3! It is so hard to wait and hope that you can get one.

Just a quick ?--- Has anyone ever not received the AP discount because they ran out? I'm just wondering since this is the first time we will be using the AP discount, should I be on the phone the very second it is announced? We already have the room reserved, if I call will they apply the discount?

Snow- I've never had a problem getting an AP rate, but then again I usually call the first few days the AP rates get announced.

Also, I just got off the phone with CRO and they say to keep calling back that no AP rates after August 23rd were available yet. But she gave me hope. I also asked about Room Only Code Rates and she said there isn't any on the system.

So we still sit and wait . . .keeping my fingers crossed for a 4 day Anniversary trip with just DH and I in October . . .

A few people did mention that CM's told them to wait for the Mickey Monitor to come out, which happens to be in August also.
I have a feeling we'll have to wait a couple more weeks.

Does anyone with the Mickey Monitor from Feb and May know if either copy had AP discounts listed. I looked online at Mays and there was nothing listed but I couldn't find Febs. They(the CM's) said the same thing in May to wait for the MM and boom...nothing.
So maybe thats they way the CM's hold off the pressure.

And my other question to the CM was if I'm a new passholder and its not active until I go in Oct then how will I know about any discounts She said I'll have to call back and check.
This is just a tad stressful everyday.

I hope we hear something very soon.
I hate leaving the house (computer) too afraid of missing the big announcement.

Lori, I couldn't tell from your post..... Did you speak with a CM and check AP rates today? Has anyone checked today?

As of 9:35 am this morning . . .nothing is available past August 23rd. No AP rates, no room discounted rates.

CM said she was unsure if there would even be any and she said the best I can do is keep checking. She said they are never told in advance whether or not there will be discounted rates/codes.



I know at this time last year there were "room only" codes that came out for October on July 22 and then the AP discounts were announced on July 28 per Mousesavers.

They do not list specific AP rates for each resort in the MM, so you're not missing anything if you don't get it. They will usually just highlight one resort, like AKL, list the dates and rates starting at $...... and say they may also be available at other resorts. Your best resource is mousesavers, they usually post them on there as soon as they come out, they have a travel agent contact who gets them.

Ok. I'm going to call right now Thursday.8 am. If I find out anything I will post again if nothing new then I am heading to work. I really hope to be coming back here to post but...it seems alot of people are hearing the week of Aug 3 which put its three weeks til the timeframe it covers begins. Right? Right now the current code ends Aug 23??
Just please let it cover Aug 24- Dec 19 so we can get some rest.

Just called this AM, was told FL resident rates are out, and AP rates are pending. Told that AP rates WILL be released AUG O3, and will cover the dates of AUG 24 - OCT 01. Was told that Disney is taking so long to release AP rates because they were evaluating the effect the FTP package ressies were having on the room inventory levels... Cast member stated she had reveived numerous calls this morning regarding the same question but she was still friendly and informative... maybe if we keep calling Disney will release those precious AP rates earlier ( WISH WISH ).

So when the heck would the rest of the year be released? This makes planning extremely difficult. If you plan on staying somewhere with the AP code and then it's not released what happens if you can't get a room somewhere else? If what I read for last years rates is correct they were all released in July. This stinks and for the 1st time ever I'm really disappointed with Disney
