**AP RATE** Watch thread past Aug 23rd

I'm anxiously awaiting discounted AP rates for November also. I've been checking the boards and making occassional calls. I'm so afraid that I'm going to miss them. I'm in and out alot through the summer and don't have access to a computer. Told my husb we need to invest in a laptop so that I can keep informed while away from home! It could get very expensive making calls to Disney! Hopefully soon! Won't we all be relieved!

I just called and talked to a VERY nice CM. He said he could not "guarantee" but in talking with the guys in the marketing department, he expected rates would be out sometime between July 28 and August 4, approx three or four weeks before the end of the current ones. Again, he said he couldn't GUARANTEE, but since they usually have them, he expects they will again. And since he mentioned speaking to people about it, I figure that means they will.

So I guess I will just chill out until then unless I see someone post otherwise.

The Mickey Monitor (AP newsletter) is due out around August 1st - I'd guess that's when they will release the discounts!

Last year AP rates came out on July 28th. (General discounts came out July 22nd.) Sounds like the CM you talked with could very well be on track.

I just hope that when they come out, THEY come out through december and we don't have to wait this agony all through the fall! We just got through it for our august trip! Don't think I can go long term holding my breath again!

Last year room only for anyone codes came out on July 22 it was a Monday and AP rates came out of July 28 which would of been a Sunday....so hopefully this years rates will follow same type of schedule.

We are two of those Disney Freaks that keeps looking for the codes also. Would like to finalize which hotel I will be at. If GF has codes then there and if not CT maybe 12th floor.

Watching for codes has become a very nice upbeat part time job.
