AP rate thoughts

I get confused by all the different reports -- my experience is totally different!

We had to switch from a bunk bed woods view room at WL to a 2 queen woods view, but our rate went from $435 to $224 (12/20).

Normally, a bunk bed room costs $20 more than a non-bunk bed room. So, doing some calculations:

$415 would have been my normal rate for a non bunk bed room. With the AP discount we got it for $224, that's a discount of more than 45%.

I'm very happy with the AP code!

That's fantastic! I wish I knew how you did it. :confused3

I went and checked WL; had no desire to stay there again, but if the price was right... Rack rate for our dates is $295, AP discount rate is $245 for bunk bed woods view. I'd prefer the queen beds, but it isn't available (with an AP rate).

You are staying different dates;only Friday & Saturday nights are $435 holiday season for a bunk bed woods view ($415 Sun-Thur), but I wouldn't think you'd get that much of a better discount. But, I guess it is.

We booked through a Bounceback offer in May for our end of October trip, also waiting to compare it to any AP discount that came out. We have a BWI standard view room through Bounceback at $259 per night (30% off rack rate at a Deluxe - not a deluxe villa room). When I checked with my AP code yesterday they offered me the same room at $295 per night, or $75 off the rack rate. Needless to say I kept my Bounceback rate.
