Ok so I have reserved my cruise for Feb 14th with an annual pass holder rate (AP).

When I first made the reservation they told me that I had to fax over my AP ticket.

I have paid for the cruise in full and still do not have a room assignment.....this is probably due to the fact that I have not faxed my AP ticket to them yet.

Do you think that the longer I wait the better the chance of me getting a possible upgrade??? Or will I just get stuck with a cat 9 (which I am happy for) either way???

I thought I would ask here before faxing over my pass.

TIA!

Getting an upgrade will not depend on when you fax over your AP ticket. The upgrade fairy sprinkles pixie dust as she will....you generally find out any time from 90 days ahead up till the time of boarding.

Do be aware that upgrades are few and far between other than 12 to 11. Only book a cabin where you will be happy--if you get an upgrade, so much the better.

Feb 14 is too far away to expect to see an upgrade yet--DCL will continue to sell any categories it can and will only upgrade as the sailing date nears.

Yeah I figured that just thought I'd ask.

Do you think there is anyway that NOT sending my AP right away will hurt me and my cabin room selection?

What it will do is jeopardize getting that SBC which is part of this offer. You really need to get that AP faxed over soon.
