AP rate history?

I was able to find out when the dates where released, but wanted to know what the deals were for.

We decided to purchase AP and we are debating wether we should wait for ap rates in Feb for a May stay or go ahead and rent points for May at a DVC.

Does the hotel change every year for the ap rate offer? For example last year around Feb the offer for May was for Wildnerness Lodge at $184 a night. Yet I did not see any other hotel offer in the deluxe category. Where they there for the BC or GF etc. and I did not see them?

They are room discounts generally from what I have used. In May when the Values rate was 99/night, the AP discount made them 74/night (25%off). Through Sept for Values I am paying $64/night. I think the rack rate is $82/night. From Sept 28-Oct 4, 2008, we are paying $54/night. I checked on WL and most of the nights Sept 28-Oct 4 are $159 for the standard room. In the past, at times we have paid much less in regard to the rack rate. Some examples are 114/night for WL courtyard view in Aug 2003 and 74/in CBR and CSR in 2002 and 2003.

No, AK was the same at the time, these 2 resorts usually have similar offers. Poly did also have something but I don't recall. My son currently received an AP rate for 4 days in Sept that saved him about 300 or so. You can call and just get the rates on the phone with the AP code. They will tell you, but you will need the AP to check in. There may only be 2 or 3 listed, however, usually the AP discount is available for most hotels, maybe not all room types but most hotels. They also have limits as to how many rooms per hotel per discount type offered. Call and check that's the best thing to do to know for sure.
