AP rate for more than one room?

We have booked a room-only ressie at WL and I am thinking about buying AP's, but actually waiting until I see if a AP rate is offered. My TA told me that if a AP rate is offered, she will call to get the rate applied to my existing ressie. But now we have some friends of ours that are thinking about coming along with us. I now that you can book up to 3 rooms on a AP rate but does it have to be at the same resort. We are staying at the WL, but I think they are looking at either value or moderate. Can I book a room for them using my AP rate at one of those resorts? Just didn't know if this has been done by anyone else! Thanks for your help!!!

You could I am sure but you would have to be there with them when they check in.

Yes you can do this. I reserved a room at WL at the AP discount for my nephew once. We were staying at BC at the time. We were there when they checked in but the CM at check in said we really didn't have to be there.
