I have called twice and the first time I was told the AP's are only for Poly. I knew this wasn't true so I called back and got another CRO. So then I got $77 for ASSp for 12/20-12/28. Believe me I know that this is better than the usual $114 but then i see that some of you got $49 for that time.

Please tell me how??? How do we all get so many different answers?

THANK U!!!

You are arriving during the holiday season, thus different rates. If your dates are flexible, you could book for a day earlier to fall within value season. I believe you can get that rate your whole stay. However, that rate will still be subject to availability. (I booked 9 nights at ASSp with the AP rate... it all falls withing value season.)

To see the various WDW seasons, Mary has this info at Mousesavers: http://www.mousesavers.com/seasondates2003.html

I wonder why they gave you a $77 rate? That doesn't sound right. They gave me $59 a night annual passholder rate for a preferred room for the Pop Century resort 12/23-12-27. And Pop Century is supposed to be the same price as All-Stars. From what I understand, the value season rates for passholders are supposed to be in effect for check-ins through 12/26 this year, which means $49 for a standard All-Star or Pop Century room. Unless they decided to change it since the first day the rates were released or something, I got mine on the first day. That sounds like a mistake. If you're a passholder or Florida resident, I would call back and try another castmember.

I just booked All Star Movies on 12/20 for $49 + tax with the AP rate. If you are able to snag the rooms there is no holiday rate "penalty" as you find with rack rates. There are blackout dates and they start on 12/27.

Suggestion: Make two reservations. One with the AP rate for 12/20-12/27 and cancel all but your 12/27-12/28 night on your original reservation. That ought to get you the $49 rate at All Stars. I know I was able to do this at Coronado Springs for the same dates.

I did it!! I called and got this wonderful man that worked forever with me!! I got ASSp for the 49 a night!! I did mention this board when I started heheh...

Please don't think that I am complaining but I wanted Pop Century for that rate and I didn't think I could get it anyways. They had rooms available but not for that price. I see now that you got it. I am wondering should I try again?

Yes, you might want to keep trying- they told me that that rate was also good for Pop Century as well.

Hi,

Just keep trying. My girlfriend and I wanted to stay at Pop Century for our Dec 26 to Jan 3 trip, but when AP rates came out on 8/28 I was told mulitple times that they were gone since this is the busiest time of the year.

I called again today and was able to switch my first reservation over including deposit to the new reservation for Pop Century at the $49 rate ($54.88 w/tax).

Persistance pays off. I must have called atleast once a day and was told no each time until today. I even called back to verify the reservation and was told that I had PC at the AP rate.
