AP rate at YC or BC

What kind of AP rate can I expect for the YC or BC for November this year? What have you gotten in the past for these resorts?

I would not expect any during the Food & Wine Fest, which will run until mid-November in all likelihood. And there probably won;t be any around Thxgiving either, so that's leaving you a pretty narrow window when you might get a decent code. The Epcot resorts get pretty full that time of year, especially during F&WF, being stumbling.. er, walking distance from various wine tasting events and all. Maybe see if there are any AAA discount rooms available still, then if any sort of deals come out, pounce on them, cuz they're gonna be gone quickly.

Is there anyone that has actually gotten an AP rate at YC or BC in November?

It was late October early November (F & W Fest time) of 2003 at the Yacht Club. I think it was about $300 + tax a night for waterview room. We were upgraded to concierge priveleges (not room) at check in. I simply asked if there was an upgrade available. The CM said we were already in one of the finest view rooms. I said, Concierge? He said Yes, I can give you concierge priveleges.

Did the Swan last year around the same time for $169 + tax.

Have done the BWI in 2002 at the same time but don't remeber exact rate. Less expensive than YC though! Seem to recall about $800 total including tax.

That darn tax is a killer. About 17% if I recall.

We had an AP rate at BWI last November but switched over to Poly and AKL. So if available at BWI, there would have been some AP rooms at YC/BC

It was no healthy AP discount last November. It was a flat $90.00 off rack rate per night on deluxes no matter what level room, ie std, water or concierge. In 2003, the discount was great--45% off rack.

With the big crowds this year, I would guess if there is discount, it will be a flat dollar amount off again.

Are especially large crowds expected for early Nov this year? We tried to reserve a room w/ AAA discount at BC, YC or BW for 11/6-7 (not Super Soap Weekend), and there was nothing available.
