lol sorry I hope I am posting this in the right spot, if not please lmk, thank you.
my question is.......
I am very curious about AP's, not so much benefits but as to HOW DO THEY WORK??
For example we are going in Oct. I was told by a friend if i do decide on becoming an AP holder I should upgrade my tickets when I get there for the simiple fact that its cost effective.
1) HOW?
2) How do you exactly use AP's?
if i book a hotel next year for 7, 8, 9 nights for example, do I get to use my AP's for all those nights? does it matter that I only have 4 park tickets this trip? but next year wanna go for longer?
this is where I am getting confused.

sorry if this sounds dumb, we can't afford DVC so I was wondering if AP's would be any better. TIA

An AP is used in an identical manner to a park hopper ticket, but grants you unlimited access for 365 days.

If you have a 4 day hopper and you upgrade, the annual pass you upgraded to will expire one year from the first day you used that 4 day hopper. Hope this helps you.

You can upgrade any unused ticket for a annual pass, even one day tickets, once you have your annual pass activated you can get the resort rooms discount for up to 2 rooms per stay for the number of night you're staying
