AP Questions..

Okay just some newbee questions..

I'm Planing on staying at the Paridise Pier hotel for 3-4 nights... If I get an AP do I still get EE to the park some days. Think I read AP won't let you get EE somewhere.

Also, at what time does the clock start ticking on the pass..At time of purchase, or on first use?

Good question. I was wondering the same thing about AP's getting EE or not?

If you stay at PP, you are entitled to EE ALL days it is offered.

Doesn't matter if you have the AP (or are getting the AP), or you don't. Doesn't matter if you have a 1 day, 3 day or 5 day hopper.

What matters is that you are staying at one of the 3 DLR hotels.

I'll let the AP gurus give you the skinny on AP.

Yes, you can get EE with an AP if, and only if, you are staying on-site.

I've only gotten APs at the park so I don't know if the clock starts ticking at purchase if you buy the PH ahead of time. It you want to stay on site, and AP rates are available, it does make sense to get your APs ahead of your visit. For those not staying on property, you can get a 3 or more day PH which includes EE, use the EE, and then upgrade to an AP. I once upgraded the last day of my visit on a 6-day parkhopper. My AP was dated the day that I upgraded, but I am under the impression that that may have been a mistake. I hear that upgrades are usually back-dated to the first day of use of the PH.

The clock starts running on the first day you use your AP. I've bought them at the Disney Store and then later taken them to the park to activate and its's that day that is the expiration date one year later. So, if you were to take your AP voucher to the park tomorrow and use it to get in, then get your actual AP, it's good until August 1 2008.
