Hi all,

We are DVC members and I am considering buying an AP for myself for the convenience and the discounts and MYW passes (7 days PH NE) for my DH and DS's . We will be making two trips, this year and next year both in August. I will probably willcall the transaction and was wondering if:

1. Will I get vouchers in the mail for the tix or do I just use the confirmation printouts at the Guest Relations? and,

2. Will I get an AP newsletter before activating the pass and have access to the PH website?

Thanks!

When using will call you will just use your confirmation number. Did this in Jan. to renew our AP's and it was very easy. You will not get the newsletter until your pass is active.

You should get green tickets that are your certificates/vouchers in the mail.
Take those to Guest Relations and they will be taken and made into your AP's
You will need your drivers license for anyone over 16
If you don't receive your vouchers by mail before you leave do not panic
You can take your ID's to Guest Relations, and confirmation number and they will look up your vouchers, reprint them and then activate them into your AP's
When you get home, through the vouchers you received away, as they have been voided.
Guest Relations is located at any of the main WDW parks and at Downtown Disney.
Guest Services at the water parks and at the resorts cannot activate your AP vouchers.
Have a GREAT vacation!

They have had that ability for a long long time. You must remember that there are folks with PAP's who will want to go to a water park for their first day at WDW. GS can activate their PAP vouchers there so they don't have to leave and go to a theme park or DTD to do it. But they will only activate PAP's, not AP's.

Techincally, If the pass can be used at (Insert place) then the AP can be activated at (insert place)'s ticket booth.

It's actually prefered that the AP is activated at Guest Relations though, as they have the pass jacket, and all the information about the specific ticket.
