AP question

I have booked a room at BI with an AP discount. This is my first time getting one and I have a couple of questions. First of all, the Disney website says "same day admission to all 4 theme parks". Maybe my head is screwed on backwards, but does that mean no park hopping? Surely not....

Also, it says theme park parking is a benefit. Does that just mean you don't pay, or is there a special "place" you park?

You can go to more than one park a day - we did with our AP's last year, and as you have AP's you don't need to get your hand stamped, although the kids did anyway!!! You don't pay for parking, you just show the AP at the parking booth and that's it!! the money we have saved on parking is a real bonus

"Same day admission to all 4 theme parks" means "you can go to all 4 theme parks in the same day", which of course means hopping.

When you stay on-site (as you are at BI this time), you will not need to use your AP to get free parking because all on-site Guests get free parking, too. When you check in at BI they will give you a parking pass for the windshield of your car with the dates of your stay printed on it, and this will get you through the parking lot gates much faster than showing your AP. Just be sure to place it in the windshield so that it is easily visible to the parking lot attendants.

I also find it helpful to point at the pass whenever I enter the parking lot gates; for some reason I cannot fathom, the parking lot attendants at the gates sometimes don't bother to look at the windshields of incoming cars for Disney resort parking passes unless you point to them!
