AP Question??

My mother gave us 2 regular APs for our anniversary, not activated yet I still have vouchers. Since I would prefer the FL Resident Seasonal AP, I am a FL resident, could I apply the cost of the 2 regular APs to the purchase of 6 Ea FL Resident Seasonal??? Thanks

No, I don't think so. Disney does not allow "downgrades".

AFAIK, you cannot apply the price of a higher value ticket/voucher to one of a lesser value.

You also cannot apply the cost of one ticket/voucher to more than one ticket/voucher, and you cannot apply more than one ticket/voucher to the cost of one ticket/pass. It's a one to one deal when it's allowed.

You should check to see if you can return the vouchers, though. I don't think you can, but I read elsewhere that someone did. If you can return the vouchers, you'll be able to use the cash to buy the seasonal passes you prefer. Good luck.

If the FL Resident Seasonal Pass is cheaper than your AP, then no. They won't let you do that.

But you better wait for GoldenOldie. (S)he always comes around and I realize I've got something wrong.

The key to this question is the fact that the vouchers have not yet been activated. They are right now in essence a gift certificate that you redeem for the pass. You should be able to apply the dollar value of the vouchers towards the Seasonal AP's you seek. This happens all the time when the situation is reversed (someone buys FL resident tickets and cannot prove FL residency when activating them. They are then allowed to put the credit towards other tickets).

Had the vouchers been activated, then the answer would have been no for the reasons Carol stated.
