AP Question

We made reservations at the Poly (for June) and I told the CRO that we were going to get AP's again. I know they are not out yet, but the CRO said when/if they do come out I will need to bring the actual tickets with me to the Poly (not the voucher). Is this new or was the CRO a goofball...

I believe that is the official policy, but most here, including me, will tell you that we have checked in with just the voucher. Two years ago at AKL they asked for AP, I showed them the voucher and it wasn't a problem. Last year we checked in at both BC and Polynesian without either resort asking to see our AP.

Worst case senario is you would have to run to a park and activate your voucher, but I've never read that anyone has had to do that.

We will also have our vouchers with us. I spoke to the resort directly and they assured me we'd be ok with a voucher. I've never heard of anyone having to run to the resort to activate their voucher.

I think I have read that sometimes they want you to come back and show the activated ap.

I've never been asked for anything when checking into the YC. I did have my voucher the first time and my pass the second time. I'm sure you can check in with the voucher, then show them the pass after you get it at Guest Services.

We heard the same thing before our trip in December! We went ahead & purchased our AP's at MCO Airport because I was told we needed them upon check-in.

Well, we checked into the Polynesian and wasn't asked to show our AP's. 5 Days later we checked into the Wilderness Lodge and wasn't asked to show our AP's there either!

I would imagine there shouldn't be a problem just having the voucher. Hope this helps!
