In the past (2010) in was the rule that
the blockout days for the AP do not apply on the first day of USE.

Is it still true? Do your enter the park with your e-ticket (even on blockout day) and then exchange it inside the park for a real Annual pass?

Yes you can activate it on a block out day. You have to get your "real AP" at the ticket booths now.
