AP Question

Has anyone bought an AP lately? What's the expiration date on the papers you got? Trying to get this answered before I purchase them since my trip is still 8 months away but i want to get the purchase out of the way

They expire one year from date of purchase. Why did you buy them so early?

The AP itself should expire one year from first use. If the price goes up between the time you purchase the voucher and your first use, you may need to pay the difference, but it will still expire one year after first use.

Yes, like the PP said, they expire one year from FIRST USE, not from purchase. I bought mine almost a month before I even used them. Since the OP's trip is so far in the future, the price may very well go up, and then she would have to pay the difference, also like the PP said.

This is yet another area that DL & WDW differ. For WDW, if you purchase a WDW AP voucher/ticket, it never expires and you can effectively lock in a future AP at today's prices this way. At DL, I know the AP that you purchase ahead of time does have some expiration time and after that, you'd have to pay the difference if the price increased.

Well it has to be redeemed by January 5th 2011. I bought them early cause I wanted to have everything paid for off my Disneyland debit card so that everything on it is only spending money nothing to worry about. If it goes up it's not a big deal cause it won't go up that much. And since they have already gone up recently I doubt they will go up much more if they do at all.
