AP Question

Ok, probably been asked and answered before, but my searching skills are not turning anything up.

We have an existing reservation for October with an AAA discount. We also have unusued park hoppers. If AP discounts are released, we would like to try to get an AP discount on our room. I understand that with the elimination of BRP you no longer need to actually have the AP pass at the time you make the reservation. So, assuming that's right: 1) Can I use the value in my unused PH to buy an AP? 2) Assuming that I have to do that when I arrive at WDW, how does this work. We'll be arriving in the evening -- will the they let me check in before I've done that? How do you guys take care of that?

We were able to do so last Dec. It was indicated that it was a courtesy extended to us when we switched them over @ the MK gate.

If you have your tix in hand, you'll see a bar code & numbers on the back bottom. WDW ticket research dept (you can reach them thru CRO) can tell you exactly what their value is.
