AP question regarding number of rooms

How many rooms can 1 pass holder book with AP. Can 1 AP holder book 2 rooms and have one room with no pass holder staying in it? We are several travelling but only 1 AP and wondering if the AP holder can book all the rooms

You can book up to 3 rooms and you only need to be on one.

DH and I are AP holders. Booked a room for us and my parents in another. My parents had to purchase tickets separately, other than that no issues
