We have two 8-day Non-Expiring Water Parks and More tickets with no park days left, but 5 "& more" options and 10-day Non-Expiring Water Parks and More tickets that have not been used yet. These are linked to our MDE accounts. We actually are visiting 11-13 park days in the next 365 days and are thinking of buying Annual Passes (Plat with our DVC discount). We'd be buying them at the gate on Saturday. There are FP+ and several of the 'special' FP+ linked to our MDEs currently, booked because we have active linked tickets.
We'd like to be able to use the AP since it makes sense for us this year, and save the 10-day passes for slower years of travel. We don't want to bridge the tickets.
I'm sure this is all perfectly doable, I just want to ensure it is for a smooth transaction where it uses the APs and we don't lose any fastpasses. Our hope is to use the APs from 5-27-17 to 5-27-18 and then use the 10-day and 8-day ticket (for water parks) for the future where we might only go in the park 1-2 days a year for a few years. We did make the 8 day tickets last for 3 years. Anyone do something similar? I know not many of the non-expiring tickets are left out there; I wish I bought more a few years ago they're perfect (usually) for our WDW trips.
