I am a 'newbie' to the disboards and am not sure where to post this question, so hopefully this is the right place and someone can help me.

I plan to be moving to Florida around Sept or October to live with my mother for about 8 months at her home, then bring her back north to my home for the summer months, then back to Florida again, every year. As a part-time Florida resident, I was hoping to get a Florida state ID and then be able to get a Florida AP to WDW. Does anyone out there know if I will be able to get a Fla. state ID (NOT A DRIVERS LICENSE) without giving up my license from out of state? And if so, how I would go about doing this?

Thanks SO much for your help and I am looking forward to all the info I will get from this board! :)

You will go to the driver's place down there with BC in hand and apply for one. Even if you get a FL they do not make you give up your regular license. My parents both had FL licenses when they were snowbirds.

All the info is on line. Just look up what county, place etc. and you will learn what to bring and where they are located, fees and hours.
