AP Purchase

We are now under the 10 day mark for our trip to WDW. Can't wait! We decided to purchase AP this trip since we are going for 14 days. We have not purchased APs for several years. The last time we had to go to DTD to purchase them. I thought I read somewhere that they can be purchased at the front desk now instead of going to DTD. We stay at SSR. Is it true that we can purchase them at the front desk?

You can purchase APs at any Theme Park Ticket Window, Guest Relations Location or Resort Concierge/Ticket Desk.

If purchased at the resort, the AP will be on the same KTTW stock at the room keys (but not attached to your actual room key). I've seen mixed reports on these that indicate some resorts don't process them correctly so they don't work at the parks.

If purchased at a Ticket Window or Guest Relations, it will be a tyvek card (looks like paper, but it's really a form of plastic).

We were just at SSR 2 weeks ago and decided to purchase AP. Went to the check-in desk and she was processing the payment when she remembered they were no longer able to process at the resort. We purchased ours at guest relations at MK. Or you can go to guest relations at DTD since it's so close to SSR.
