AP purchase at AKV?

We will be staying at AKV-Kidani in 9 days!! It will be our first stay as DVC members. Will we be able to purchase AP's at the resort?

don't think so - but it never hurts to ask.

think you have to go to a park or DD to get them

We just got back from AKL-Jambo where we purchased AP's at the concierge desk with our DVC discount.

yes you can buy AP, you cant up grade tickets. The trip when we bought our DVC we had a 7 day pass, we could not do an upgrade to an AP. Have fun.

You also can't do an AP renewal, you have to buy a new AP. If you need to renew your AP you are going to have to go to Guest Services at one of the parks or DTD.

I just bought a new AP at AKV, and I got it on a hard plastic card (like a KTTWC), I was pretty stoked, hopefully it will hold up and I won't have multiple instances of it getting de-magnified.

so you can now buy the AP at the resorts - but you can't do a upgrade from a regular WDW ticket to an AP - that still needs to be done at customer service in the parks?
