Was just on Deb Wills site and she had the following posted:

Annual Passholder Previews November 5-6-7, 2004!

Stitch has Escaped! Try to catch him at this Special Preview!
Put on your booger-proof vests and keep an eye out for drool puddles! Join the hunt by being among the first recruits to experience Stitch's Great Escape!™ - the newest attraction at the Magic Kingdom. Valid Passholder ID required to attend this preview.

Exclusive Passholder Stitch Pin available during Preview Days - limited edition of 5,000 - Beginning November 5 for $10.50 each (plus tax) at each of the following locations outside the new Stitch's Great Escape!™ attraction*: Mickey's Star Traders and Merchants of Venus

INTRODUCTION
HE'S ON THE LOOSE! Watch out because Experiment 626 is about to land at Walt Disney World! Sometime in late fall 2004, your favorite alien from the Disney animated feature "Lilo & Stitch" will take over the building previously occupied by X-S Tech Chairman Clench, S.I.R. and Skippy (also known as the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter).

ATTRACTION
Stitch's Great Escape takes place when Stitch is first discovered by the Galactic Federation and shortly before the events in the movie "Lilo & Stitch" occur.

You will be recruited by the Galactic Federation Grand Councilwoman to provide additional security for the captured alien. As you might imagine, Experiment 626's playful disobedience causes havoc and you are caught in the midst of it.

Walt Disney Imagineering has said this attraction will contain some of the most sophisticated Audio-Animatronics technology ever developed. Also featured will be two DNA-tracking "plasma cannons" that, according to a Disney press release, "follow the crafty alien's every move with graceful fluidity." The attraction will star characters straight out of Lilo & Stitch, including the Galactic Federation's Grand Councilwoman and Captain Gantu, with voices supplied by the movie's original actors.

The structured seating of the previous attraction, Alien Encounter, will probably remain, as will much of the other basics, including the popular "guinea pig" alien Skippy, who suffered a sad fate in the previous attraction.

TOURING TIPS
If you ride the TTA, listen for Stitch's voice as you pass over Stitch's Great Escape.

Once the attraction opens, expect long lines for Stitch's Great Escape.

KIDS AND CHARACTERS
Stitch's Great Escape is touted as a very family friendly attraction with laughter instead of screams.

Lilo and Stitch have been spotted giving autographs in front of their new home. Check your daily Times Guide for times and other character meet and greet locations.

Ok, now here are my questions:

1. How does this work? I have an AP, but my family does not. They will have the ultimate park hopper passes. Would my nephews be able to come with me? Do they allow at least one guest with a passholder?

2. Will they be opening the ride to the public after the preview?

I called Disney and the CM (who was quite rude) told me that the information that I had was bogus and that the attraction would not be opening until early 2005. Knowing this was coming from Deb, I knew he was wrong. I explained how Stitch was all over the new Mickey Monitor talking about this attraction, but he said that all that was was promoting the pin trade and not the attraction. Can someone help me???

are the Ap holders always the first to get on a new ride ??

we don't have an AP and we will be there from 10-28 to 11-6 and i was wondering if they maybe select a few lucky people to test it out before letting the AP people ride ?

Thanks Michelle

I am interested to hear if this information is correct or not.
Hope somebody can help you out.

This info was listed on the Walt Disney World site in the annual passholder section (you have to enter your AP number to access the site).

In past AP previews they check EVERYONE's AP. So if you don't have one, you get turned away.

Disney usually picks a small numbr guests leading up to the AP event for testing purposes.

I can't remember if Mission:Space opened to everyone after its AP preview.

That is great. Gives me another excuse for a Trip to Disney.

Yes I saw the information on the AP website this morning also. We went to the one for Mission Space and only the AP holders could go through. My husband used my AP and I sat out the ride. We checked with the managers that were checking APs and the expiration dates on the APs. There is usually a cast preview prior to the AP preview. Other than that, there still may be some soft opennings, all you can do is ask when you walk by. There should be someone manning the ride to answer questions.

Darn! Our AP's expire on 10/29 and we leave on 11/1!! They keep saying in the DVC news that DVC members will be getting a "sneak preview", but no dates have been mentioned! I was hoping for a MNSSHP/Stitch night!!!!

Forgot my AP at home, but will log in tomorrow with it. It's a shame though that you're not allowed at least one person. I don't think my youngest nephew would make the height requirement, but I know that the other 2 would.

Guess it won't hurt to ask.

Terk-1,

Could you please tell me what the height requirement is?

Thanks
