I purchased my 18yo daughter an AP that she will pick-up when she goes in a couple weeks for Spring Break. She is in college. At the end of the check-out process it told me that the contract holder had to be present with the CC that was used to pay when the pass is picked up. I got FL resident pass. Has this been your experience? If she just shows her ID etc is that enough? If I have to make a trip before to pick it up I will but I hate to do it. We are several hours from US.

Thanks

Can't you give her the cc to obtain the ap?

Also give her the order/confirmation #

She will have all of that. She just wouldn't have me with her and I would hate to have to buy her a day ticket if they won't let her get her AP. I guess I will just go myself.

Maybe call them and ask........and get a confirmation email if they say it's fine for her to do that.

It seems such a waste of your time if you don't have to go out of your way.

Hope your daughter is able to do this and has a fabulous time.

I bought a voucher for one at Disney World this fall. On the phone, they told me I needed ID and the credit card. When I got there - only a valid ID was required. I asked about the credit card, and the guest services cast member laughed.

The credit card used to be needed when you could get the AP from a kiosk.

They asked for mine a few weeks ago when I was picking up seasonal APs, and I froze because I had bought them on a card I never used so the BF wouldn't see the transaction (it was a surprise trip). Did not have that card with me. She said it was fine, but possibly because I had photo ID matching the name on the confirmation email.

So - you don't need it. They just ask you to bring it. So dumb.

The person that I spoke to on the phone told me to photocopy the card and bring that. Because that's a great way to ensure ID.

Photocopy sounds fine to me

when in doubt, email guest service for current policy and make a copy of their reply
And have her keep it in case needed

Many parents buy ap's for their adult/18+ kids
I'm sure it will be fine for her

Better safe than sorry to have the cc info with her
