AP, PC & L Which menu is best & Why?

I have been reading so much on the likes and dislikes of the cruisers when it comes to each restaurant and their menus. Sound like people really dislike some menus and I am wondering why? Are they themed foods? Like Seafood in Parrot Cay etc.? This will be our first Disney Cruise and I understand the rotational dining thing, but I assumed that on each night, all of the restaurants served the same menu and that it was only the atmosphere that would be different. Can someone give me and example of the menus and which ones you like, dislike and why? Trying to plan for Palo, and I really enjoy "Different and exotic " foods and don't want to miss a good menu.

Food is such a personal thing. What I like you may not. I would just go to each restaurant, look over the menu and ask for your server's advice on what is the best that evening.

Sometimes I go with the Server recommendation...sometimes not. Don't worry too much about the menus....everybody's tastes are different and that is why there is such a wide variety of comments about the menus.

Except for specialty nights like tropicalifragilist the restaurants have different menus. I liked all of them but if I had to pick a favorite i'd say animators palate and I would say Parrot Cay would be my least favorite.
