I'm trying to get a deluxe on the payment plan. Just wanted to know if I needed to show proof of residency.

What did you have to show to get your "actual" pass?

We all purchased our passes last year, the only thing that was necessary to prove my residency, so that I could do the payment plan, was that the card I was using to pay for the pass had a California billing address. I did not at the time have a California DL nor did I bring any other paperwork with me, all that was necessary was the credit card billing address. You can try and call the Annual Passport Monthly Payments Guest Services group, I found this number on the DL website in a FAQ section to see if they have a clear policy regarding this.
