Ap parking and shopping help

I have a last minute trip planned and coming up soon. I am going to buy a AP with the free parking, my question is will the parking still be free on my first day without being scanned at the park first? 2nd question... I wanted to buy the new Micky paint ink ears before I take my AP photo, do they sell them in DTD ? And can I get the AP discount? Thanks!

if you bought your AP online you get an eTicket by email. print that out and they will scan it at the parking lot booth for parking. I was told that that can only be done once so you have to get your hard pass before parking again.

you can then go to the ticket booths to get your hard pass. I don't see why you can't then go to Downtown Disney to buy ears before going to an entry booth and having your picture taken. don't know if those specific ears are sold there. someone else will have to say.

if you are planning to buy at the ticket booth, in the past you paid for parking first then bring the receipt with you to get a refund when you get your AP.

Your AP photo isn't printed on the AP card - so the only people who will ever see the photo are the CMs scanning you in. Not sure if it really matters as much to you then....

And also you usually need the AP card itself in order to get merchandise discounts.

Parking is included on the Sig and Sig+ APs.

the top two have parking Signature and Signature Plus.

they used to sell it as an add-on, but stopped that a few years ago. I think they switched Premium to Signature Plus. the Plus is the two weeks around Christmas and New Years unblocked.
