AP Options

Hi! We're new to DVC, going on our first trip in a few weeks. We're also going in Oct. and again the first week of May 2010. We want to get AP's but we're not sure which ones to get, I believe I read there are different options. Also, if we get an AP that does not include waterparks, do you get a discount as a DVC member? Any advice with AP's would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!

You have two options when it comes to a Disney Annual Pass:
Annual Pass
Every Walt Disney World Annual Pass provides:

• Unlimited admission* for 365 days to the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks
• The flexibility to go from Theme Park to Theme Park on the same day
• A wide array of Passholder benefits, such as special Passholder events throughout the year
• Theme Park parking

Premium Annual Pass
Every Walt Disney World Premium Annual Pass provides everything a Walt Disney World Annual Pass provides, PLUS:

• Unlimited access for 365 days to Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course*, Walt Disney World Water Parks, Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex (days of operation depend on event schedule: some events require a separate admission charge), and DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park (excluding prize play games)

As a member you are entitled to purchase either of the Annual Passes at a discount:
DVC AP:
New Adult (age 10+) $369.00
New Child (age 3-9) $326.00
Renewal Adult (age 10+) $324.00
Renewal Child (age 3-9) $286.00

DVC PAP:
New Adult (age 10+) $474.00
New Child (age 3-9) $418
Renewal Adult (age 10+) $434.00
Renewal Child (age 3-9) $383.00

Above prices don't include the required 6.5% sales tax.

I you opt for the regular AP, DVC members get a discount on daily water park tickets. It $4 off for adults and $3 off for children.
