We moved to FL this summer and I bought APs for our family yesterday at Guest Relations at Disney Springs for Christmas. I think something went off with the transaction.
1) The CM said she would link our APs to MDE to save me some time later. I got the confirmation emails almost immediately, but the passes didn't show in the app. After an hour of refreshing it, I went back to Guest Relations and a different CM scanned the cards, verified the email, watched me log out, close the app, and log in again w/o the passes showing up. Her response was "sometimes it takes a while" I get that. This morning- still no passes loaded, log into MDE online- no passes, try to add passes- "sorry, that pass is already associated with another account". What? It's my correct email, it's my correct MDE account (I only have one), but no passes. Online chat wasn't a help because they can't see the account and said to call online guest services and I forgot to get he #. I have a feeling I will be at Guest Relations after watching Star Wars tomorrow morning unless someone has had the same issue and can help.
2)The CM said we would receive vouchers to go to the parks that night (Gold passes are blacked out this week still) and I joked about how this week is the craziest week to go to the parks, but I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to that because it was already late and I was compulsively checking my text for my 19yo to send me a pic of her DL for residency proof. When I went back the second time to ask why the passes weren't showing up, I also asked to clarify about vouchers, which were not received. That CM had no idea what I was talking about and said that they don't give vouchers when you buy an AP. Not stressed about it, since it was already 8:00, but my curiosity is piqued- has anyone been promised a voucher when buying FL res APs?
3) How long does it take to get the email about ordering the magic bands?
