AP military discount?

I read on mousesavers that military can get a discount on an AP but I couldn't find the price anywhere, anybody know what they are going for? TIA!!!

Go to http://www.shadesofgreen.org. On the right side of the page there is a link to check military prices that you can purchase at SOG.

The AP rates used to be posted on the website, but I don't see them anymore. I found the following rates on this board, posted by a fellow DISer in May: Adult $371 and Child $311.

you check with your local MWR office first. SOG is not selling AP's (as of a week or two ago, I called) and they don't know if and when they will be offering them again. When they ran out of the old ones they didn't get the new ones in at the higher price. At least that is what I was told.

Thanks for that info, though it's a huge bummer if true! Hopefully the situation is only temporary. It figures...DH had recently decided an AP would be the pass of choice for our next trip.

Don't know if this has changed since then, but we bought APs at SOG for $371 each on May 31st. MWRs do not sell APs. The ITT office at NEX in Orlando sells Florida-resident APs only.

Yes I called end of May too and they told me they have them for $371 for the APs...

We just purchased AP's at the end of May as well. When I called SOG for the rates because they were no longer posted on the site I was told that yes they still had them but that they were no longer allowed to post the discounted rates. I certainly hope they haven't stopped selling them.... When we purchased ours they gave us a voucher so we didn't actually get the AP... then took them to DTD to validate them. She didn't mention anything about them not going to be available any longer.

Those are great prices. I am glad Disney gives that discount to those very deserving people.

Also, if you are a Florida Resident, or are currently based in Florida, the cost is $289 for an AP or $390 for a deluxe AP. FL Resident seasonal rates were $194

All these numbers were from the SoG Ticket office as of a month ago.
