AP Meet at Soarin 4/15. Anyone Interested?

I am so excited about the AP preview of Soaring this coming Friday. It will be my first AP event. I'm going to try and be the first person in line! Well maybe not.

If any other AP holders are going to be at EPCOT Friday morning and would like to meet up, post here or PM me. We could ride Soarin and some of the other attractions and then maybe head down to Beaches and Cream for lunch.

The only thing that would keep me away is a really bad weather day. Right now the 7 day forecast shows Friday looking splendid with sunny skies and temps in the low 80's.

So anyone interested? BTW, you don't have to be an AP holder to come to the meet. That only has to do with getting on Soarin.

Cool! I'll have a lime green ribbon tied to my fanny pack. I should be fairly easy to spot anyway as I'm 6'1" tall. I'll be wearing my yellow EPCOT 2003 flower and garden t-shirt.

If this ride is a keeper (ie: fun, not too scary, unique) I will probably go on it multiple times and will be hanging out there until at least 10 a.m. and probably later. I also want to go on the Land ride. I've missed not being able to go on that while they've had the pavillion closed.

I'll be there, maybe with a big group from another board, although that meet is getting rather tangled and confused. Anyway, we'll be easy to spot, I'll be with my dad who has long hair and a long beard, and rides a bright red ECV. Hope to see you there!!

My family and I will be there, but we are not AP holders. I have been on Soarin in California Adventure many times, and it is a great experience.

I had kind of hoped a long time ago that perhaps it would have been previews this weekend, but alas it is only for AP holders. That is fine with me, they deserve some perks for what they pay for those APs.

Have fun!! We will also be in Epcot on Friday. We're a big group, I'll be the one with crazy red curly hair, my mom is the one with crazy brown curly hair. We are a fun bunch, though.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of you tomorrow! I'm another one that should be easy to spot. I've a 6'1" blond with curly hair. I'll have on my 2003 bright yellow Flower and Garden t shirt.

My plan is to get to EPCOT before it opens... maybe around 8:30 or so and try and be one of the first people on the ride. Hey, I've waited a long time to take advantage of an AP event!

I'll probably hang out there for an hour or so but I'll be back during the day from time to time.

JL, your group sounds like it will be easy to spot. To anyone else who might be going, if you can get a lime green ribbon and wear it so it's obvious, I'll come over and say Hi. Or come over and say Hi to me.

The weather is looking to be fabulous and I hope to meet up with as many of you as possible!

ACK! Sorry I didn't see any Dis people on Friday. To those of you who were there, did you see the school group with the lime green t-shirts on?? I cracked up laughing every time I ran into them.

It was a great day and the ride is amazing. For those of you who don't hang out on the Community Board, here's a link to the photos I took that are posted there.
