Where do you stay when you go to DL, especially when staying offsite? Can you still get perks like 4th night free at Good Neighbor hotels? WHo do you book through?

I booked through Costco in the past and liked all of the perks, MTTMM, Character Breakfast, etc. But I think you have to purchase the tickets, too. For our Januray trip I just booked a room off site at Best Western Park Place - it's so close! But, I saw new advertising last night on TV about 4th night free and 5 day park hoppers for the price of 3 day hoppers. My sister is coming with me in January, so maybe she should take advantage of it??

Other than that do you usually book directly through the hotel?

The HoJo offers a 15% discount for AP holders. And I would normally use that if I couldn't get the most excellent Ent. rate they offer.

We used to be "snobs" and stay only at the DLH, but then I found that the places across the street were nice too!! So far, we have stayed at the BWPPI and the Carousel Inn. During our trip next month, we will be at Hojo's..

We usually stay on-site only once every couple of years. For all of our other trips, we stay on Harbor. We like aht Anaheim Plaza Hotel, Del Sol and Desert Inn. We stayed at the Super 8 on Disneyland Dr. at Ball last weekend. The rooms were a little nicer, but you have to be willing to drive to the parking garage, because it really isn't walkable. This was a completley last minute trip, and we have free parking, so we were fine with it. Next mont we are trying Hojos for the first time. Thank you entertainment rate!!!!!!

Definitely Priceline! We've gotten 3 star hotels (Crowne Plaza Resort, Hyatt) for $50/night or less.

We ALWAYS stay at Fairfield Inn on Harbor. I book thru the Marriott website and have Marriott rewards because of it. The rooms are always clean, two beds and a sleeper chair. I always ask for Disneyland view so we can see the fireworks at night. I like staying here because at the end of the day, I don't want to be waiting for a bus. I like that I can walk back in the middle of the day and rest if I want.

Have a great trip!

We love the Maingate Residence Inn but it's hard to get a good rate there so we've been branching out. Last time we got one of those package deals and wound up at the Four Points in Fullerton. Blech! We'll never stay there again!

This next trip, we're trying the Homewood Suites in Garden Grove.

Just booking rooms I've seen 4th night free offers.

Also, the buy 3 days get 5 days parkhoppers can be purchased, for the correct timeframe, without a package. :)

I"ll miss the package stuff like the MTTMM vouchers, but I'm looking forward to the freedom of just booking the hotel and not dealing with the package. :)

Well we just stayed at the GCH. Next June we plan on staying at the Tropicana again. Just stinks cause we won't get any EE! Bummer! LOL

We like to stay at the Embassy suites, especially if we bring the kids and grandkids, that way we can get a suits next to each other and the kids can go get breakfast and not bug us!!

We always use Priceline 3*. I think we've stayed at just about every hotel there-Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, Doubletree, etc.... You do have to drive in, but we don't mind that and have free parking anyway.

That's the only drawback to using Priceline, the Crowne Plaza Resort has a "resort fee" of about $10/day that it doesn't tell you about until you get the reservation.

I almost always use Hotwire and go for the 2* (if I'm going alone) or 3*(if I'm sharing w/someone). I'd rather keep the room cost down and go more often.

I stay at my house =), the nice thing about APs if you are local, is you only have to come for a few hours, not days. 4 trips and I've gotten my money's worth.
