Is anyone a REGISTERED AP holder (meaning registered AP on the Disney website) that has NOT received a PIN code for this Fall (after Oct 3)?

I've been on the fence about whether or not to buy an AP. Today I threw all caution to the wind and bought one online (I missed the renewal period for my old one). I've got room-only ressies for late October and have been hoping to receive a magical pin. I'm wondering if buying and registering an AP will help me out at all. I recall seeing a few posts here and there from those who registered and shortly afterwards received a PIN email. I'm currently paying $1800 for just 5 nights at WL (AAA discount) and am SO JEALOUS of the lower PIN rates I've seen here.

So please chime in. Tell me:

Registered or unregistered
PIN or no PIN

Thanks all!

Registered, but still waiting for the free dining code.:sad2:

Is that the PIN being offered to AP Holders? I didn't think that would be the case since Free Dining requires a package with tickets. I'm hoping for 35-40% off room rates.

WE are a family of AP holders and we all (six) got the 40% off pin code offer for Oct-Dec. (We got this same pin in March and booked our Oct/Dec trips then). We also just got in the MAIL last week a pin for free dining (which we aren't using).

Don't forget to register your AP when you get it. You should register on the AP website, then go to the regular disney website and logon and update your profile to add your AP number.

BTW -- I keep all offers and looked and this offer came out on June 4th -- you have to book by September 24th.

I didn't realize there was a seperate AP website from the Disney website. Can someone post the link?

Bought our APs 5/29 and registered on the web site. No pin codes for us yet. I'd kill for a free dining one for our turkey trip.

Thanks n2mm. That's just the link on the normal WDW website. Whew! I thought I had been missing some secret website all these years! LOL ;)

Wife and I have AP and she got an email (I guess a pin) for discounts in August/September. I haven't received anything yet. This is our first year with the AP and I am hoping we get something for October because we are planning a trip there with some friends.

Our family our A/P holders and we rec'd the 10% off cards to share with friends and families. We haven't ever received a pin code.:scared1:

Are these pin codes and discounts different than the ones you see once you log into the passholders part of Disney's website?

Are they not available to all passholders?

There are person-specific PIN codes and then there are AP room rates, available to all AP holders. Sometimes, PIN codes appear to be aimed at AP holders, but not all AP holders get them. I still can't figure it out, lol.

I've never gotten an AP-related PIN...but we use the AP room rates quite a bit and they generally are pretty close to the 40% off PIN codes (like 36-38% off or something). I wouldn't buy an AP just for the discount, but if you plan to go to Disney more than 1 time in a year, it is likely worth it. You also get discounts on various shops and tours and can buy the TiW card for dining discounts.

ME! I have NEVER RECEIVED a Pin code for anything! LOL!

They won't like you very much if you are a camper at FW either.........;)

We have been AP holders for 2 years now and visited reg. before that, always staying on-site (FW campsites, of course) but have never received any pin codes, bouncebacks or discounts of any sort for that matter except what is offered to all AP holders that is common knowledge on the AP part of Disney's website. We do enjoy the AP rates we have gotten at the campground and the discounts for mini-golf and shopping at DTD but we would really enjoy getting the same discounts that seem to be offered to a lot of other people that are just staying on-site at other resorts that don't have an AP. We certainly would not buy an AP for the discounts!:sad2:

I only just became an AP mid June - so hoping that I will be blessed with a December pin....

Second yr for my family as AP holders and our registered online but have not recieved any pin codes. We go around 4 to 5 times a yr and stay at least a wk and a half each trip. When we can we use the room only discounts for passholders but not personal pins.
I have been thinking there could be 3 reasons why we don't get pins:confused:

1. FD pin you would need to buy at least 1 day park tickets
you would have to save them for another yr because you wouldn't need tickets with AP's(I still would use the pin and save the tickets for another yr)

2. They know if you have AP's you'll be back within the yr so they don't need to offer you an incentive(although I may return more)

3.I also have my trips booked before they release AP rates and apply the discounts when they come out.(So they know that I'm already coming so I don't need an incentive)

Now how to figure out how to change all this so I can get a pin:scratchin

DH is the only registered AP holder and he hasn't received a pin. I've received a few and my AP expired last December; I'm not buying an AP for me or our youngest until everyone needs one.

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts and experiences. I'll keep my fingers crossed that I do get a PIN, but its not the full logic behind my AP purchase. I just bought the voucher a bit earlier than I was planning in hopes of landing a PIN when I register. I've been an AP holder for most of the past 10 years or so and I've never once received a Mickey Monitor, so I won't hold my breathe for anything this time either. LOL

Hi - I am new here, but thought I'd jump into this thread because this seems to be an eternal question of mine, as well.

I've been an AP holder for almost a year and have never received a PIN, not for AP specials, not for anything. :confused3 I feel like I've tried just about everything... somehow, Disney must just know they've got me and don't feel the need to lure me in. ;)

I'm just hoping at this point that Disney puts out some seriously good AP rates for the fall... we'll be there the end of October for 10 nights, split b/w CBR and AKL, so we could use some good rates!! :)

I am going to go register my AP on my Disney profile, though... didn't know you could do that. I'm registered on the AP site, but maybe it'll help. One last ditch effort, I guess!!
