AP Holder Prices??

I was curious as to what the usual hotel rates for the hotels are for AP holders? I am thinking of getting one for my trip next October and would love to stay at GCH if the prices are low enough THANKS!!

This October the non Annual Passholder rates were slightly lower. We ended up with a DTD view room for 268 or something like that. The non view was about 210ish if I remember correctly. If there are enough of you going the AP may still pay off in food discounts though, mine did.

For the last week of the month I think they did drop some of the rooms down to 149.00 and 179.00 at PPH, but it was kind of a last minute drop. Nov and Dec are showing those same rates for most weekday nights... So things could drop last minute again next Oct?

If you buy your AP its just one more place to check, especially since Hojo's will let you cancel right up until 48hrs or so before your trip

GCH has rates as low as 239.00 a night on those same nights, so if the price was the same in Oct when they dropped them too, that is what you would be looking at. Again the discount rates didn't drop that low until the middle of the month.

I found getting the pass was a little steep at first(especially when getting them for multiple people), but long term wise well worth it even if all you plan is a second trip after you get the pass(assuming you stay a week or so each time). I find the food and store discounts you get also really add up and once again really make it worthwhile.

I'm thing I'm curious about is how it works. I've never had an AP and I am going to book at the GCH. So will I get a code or something to prove I paid for a pass until I go too the park to get my actual one? And if I order the pass today does that mean it goes bad on this day next year? Or not until I actually go in and use it?

I just ordered mine online yesterday, but won't get my card until I go to the park next week. In the meantime, it registered me in the system, so when I called about hotel reservations, they pulled me up by name even though I didn't have a card number yet. You have a year from when you first USE the pass, and when I ordered it online it gave me a few months before I have to use it the first time.

What if I book at the GCH way before I'm going and have already paid for it? Will they credit me the difference if I become a pass member and want one of the special rates? Sorry lol I was going to ask a Cast Member but that little chat thingy on DL.com won't pop up for me anymore; can't find it
