AP holder. Can I add Dining to regular room only?

If you have RO booked now, that will have to be cancelled and refunded and a ticketless package (room + DDP) booked. Since RO and packages are separate reservation systems, money paid toward one cannot be applied to the other. Even though you aren't required to buy tickets, adding the DDP makes it a package, therefore, the need to cancel and rebook.

Just call and say you'd like to add thd DDP to your passholder reservation. If you have a current reservation booked, they'll have to cancel and rebook. We have had guest services override it when the room type ran out at one point before we went. It's fairly simple and quick otherwise. We do it often

So if the room type is not available it can be overridden. Lol I really wanted to add the ddp

Yes, but you'll need to call.

I did call and they said no package available.

And now come to find out I was charged twice for my room lol all I can do is laugh no dining plan and a double charge

If you're really not going until 11 months from now, try this:
Go on line to the AP holder site, and book from there. See if what you want, with the DDP, is available. If it is, book it. Then cancel the reservation you already have.

I'd be astounded if the AP package isn't available almost a year in advance!

Actually I leave in two days was gonna call exactly 72 hours out and the system was down lol. I still have my room but no ddp. Oh well. We will still have a blast

The ddp used to have to be added 72 hours in advance. I do not see anyway to book a AP package online.

It must be new.. but you can do it now. You had to add the room to the cart and then on the next screen you have the option to add dining and add the magical express. This is new.

I didn't know you had to have an AP Rate booked to add dining. You can't have a general public room only discount added and then try to add dining. Stinks because now I have to change to AP rate to add dining and it's more $$
