Can an AP holder still add the dining plan to their room reservation without having to buy a ticket??
I'm traveling with my mom and staying at Pop Century for 5 nights during F&W. Neither of us are huge eaters, but we do like to "graze" so I was looking at the QSDDP. It would cost about $430 for both of us to add it and since we are planning on eating almost exclusively CS and F&W meals, I thought it would be something to consider. I see that you can now exchange a CS credit for (3) snacks, including those at the festival booths. We are planning on spending 2 full days at Epcot, tasting our way around the world. Using the CS credits for snacks, that would give us a total of 14 "snack" entitlements over the two days to use at the food booths. I understand the limitation that you have to get all three snacks at the same venue when you use a CS credit, but I think we will end up with extra CS credits anyways since we can easily share a CS meal.
We only have two TS meals planned...dinner at Citricos and breakfast at Boma...and I have a TIW card to help cover those items. I have $400 budgeted for my half of the dining costs and so the QSDDP (at about $215) easily fits into that budget with plenty left for the two TS meals and a few adult beverages. We aren't big drinkers (both of us hate beer!) so we don't need a lot to cover the alcohol at the F&W booths.
