I had an AP but let it expire last November. The problem is we just never know if we will make enough trips to make it worthwhile. We will be visiting for 2 nights in mid August and maybe again for HHN although that is not a given.
If we could be sure that the new Harry Potter expansion would be up before mid August 2014 which is when the new AP would expire it would be a no brainer. I know no one can guarantee the opening date but how likely do you think it is that I would be able to see the new area before the new AP would expire?
Also did they offer a passholder preview last time as this would be another thing to add to the plus column for an AP.

They are planning a 'Summer 2014' opening for Wizarding World Pt. 2: The Revenge..and the original one opened in mid June, so I can imagine they'll try to have it open in that window of time.

But of course, take that with a grain of salt.

It's too early to tell when HP2 will be ready...although they working at breakneck speed. Personally I feel pretty confident it will opening in July of 2014...that's just a hunch though.

There was no passholder preview of WWoHP. There wasn't anything for passholders until much later in the year...I want say November. Universal really angered lots of passholders with this move so hopefully they've learned their lesson.

I think they'll have it open before the summer too.
