AP Exams?

I chose not to take APs. However my friend took AP Calc BC and Psych this year. Turns out the school she's going to won't give her credit for her APs, so she took them for nothing (well she took Calc and Psych is this week). I giggled a little. That's why I chose not to take them; it really depends on the college how much/if any credit they'll give you.

So, these AP's, are they just a test or are they a class? They sound a little bit like the IB program in my school, in which a mark of 5-7, (or 4-7), will get you into better university classes without having to do those silly intro-classes.

There is an AP class which is to prep you for the AP Exam. Each exam offered usually has a corresponding class to it. There are a few occasions where this doesn't happen.
