I just got my email invite fore EE!!!! Who else got thiers? Hey, we get a free lanyard and pin, too?!?! That's awesome! I've got to figure out a way to go!!!!! Who's with me?

I got mine and it made me so sad that I can't live closer. Oh what a great treat. Are you getting to go? My DH said "Just go yourself you'll have fun" Oh yeah of course I would but who would tell the 4 kids we have that Mommy went to Disney by herself to have some fun without you.

I did! I am such a tool, because I am so excited about this, and I don't care much for rollercoasters! This is our first year as AP holders, so I definately see a day trip in our future.

I got mine, but am totally bummed! We leave WDW on the 17th! One week later, and we could of went! oh well, it's something to see next time!

Hi,

I haven't activated my annual pass yet, but will be arriving for our trip on Jan 29th. Are there going to be Extra hours on the end of that day???? The rest of my family
will remain at the AKL because it wasn't a planned park day.

if you go to www.disneyworld.com and log in to the passholders site with your pass number, there is a listing that says:

"Preview dates are January 26, 27, 28 and 29; Passholders will need to show their Pass for admission to this very special event. As an exciting bonus, each person who attends will receive a collectible Expedition Everest pin and lanyard!"

I can't wait!!!!

What a goof I am. I thought for a minute that EE stood for extra hours!!!!
I tried to connect to the passholder site earlier with my passholder certificate number but it wouldn't let me in. Do you think the lines to get on this ride will be crazy long????? I could get to the park by 3:00pm, but wonder if will be pointless because of the long line potential.

I made my reservation today. I'm also a DVC member. Now if only the airfare would go down I'd be really ecstatic. I hope they post the hours for the previews soon.

Got mine too.....may work out perfect. We get off of the Disney Magic on Sat Jan 28th at 7:30am......a couple of hours later, we could be at Animal Kingdom

I knew about the preview for DVC members....now that they added AP's too (I'm both), I wonder how crowded it will be. I would hate to drive there, park, drag my wife and kids into Animal Kingdom just to wait for 4 hours to take a 1 minute ride.

Here's the problem we arrive for a 9 day trip less than a week later (Feb 3rd). Think I can convince DH to do an overnighter just for one ride?

We just got our Florida Resident Annual Passes for Christmas!!! Will we be able to go just by showing our passes at the entrance to the ride??

Yes, it works for season passholders too, I just got my email. And we were able to ride Soarin during the AP preview last year.

We have APs but have never been to a ride preview. Is this for all AP holders? Do you need to make a reservation especially for the ride? Can you only ride once per AP holder during the preview or can you ride as many times as you are willing to stand in line?

We'll be there!!!! I'm so excited!!!! When I booked this trip, in the back of my mind I was wishing......now my wish has come true!!! YAY!!!!

How awesome! When we were there last, It looked from the outside almost complete (last month) and I wondered to myself why it would take until April to open. I never thought I'd be able to ride on our January trip. How awesome!! ...now to convince my DH to ride to get another pin and lanyard....

So do you HAVE to make reservations? The reason I ask is that we won't be getting our annual passes until we get down there, but will be there from Jan 21- Jan 28th.
