AP discounts? Max # of people?

How many people are the AP dining discounts good for? (I can't find the info anywhere!) We'll be a party of 6 in February: 4 with AP, 2 without.

We were originally going to get TIW before the new AP discounts came out...trying to figure out what works best now!

AP dining discounts are generally applicable to the AP holder and up to three guests. With four AP holders the two without could easily be covered.

They all have to be adult pass holders. Even though you pay the same price for the ticket, child or adult. You don't get any alcohol discounts with AP discounts. With TIW you get alcohol discounted.

As an ex-Disney server, I was trained that whom ever pays the bill gets the discount. If its a party of 8, and the person paying is AP holder, than the bill is discounted. But remember theres a gratuity included to parties of 6 or more

I will mention that my restaurant recently started accepting AP holder discounts for the first time in like 6 years. I was only there for 5 months with the discount added, so we could have been unaware of that rule since we were new to the AP holder dealio.... But I do not see an issue in the discount being applied to the entire bill. Honestly it would take WAY more time and effort for the server to try and split the bills to apply the discount on part and not discounted on the other part. Not worth the time and effort when you can just be more magical.
