Hi!

Can someone with an AP please check the rates for a Premium view room at PPH for November 30 - December 5? Not a concierge room, though. I'm trying to determine if it is worth it to purchase at least one AP for upcoming trip.

Also, historically, has DLR offered any deals on hotels for AP and non-AP for this time of year?

Thank you! :worship::worship:

Premium View Room(AP Rate) at PPH for Nov. 30th --Dec. 5th: $314.00 per night/$1570.00 plus tax of $266.00= $1836.90 Total!:)

GatorChris- It is just the standard 10% rate. The rate code for possibly more then 10% or offers will more then likely be announced the end of Sept. beginning of Oct. Last year it was Oct 2nd.

Thanks, everyone for the replies. It looks like the difference in cost between 5-day PH and AP for one person would make up the difference in the price of the room, just with the standard AP discount. Not to mention the additional discounts with the AP.

Do I have to have the AP before I can book? Does it have to be activated? Or can I call to make booking and let them know I will be activating AP when I get there?

Thanks!
:cool1:

Oooohhhh, OK. I thought I had missed some major announcement. Thanks. I'll be waiting, although my kids are really looking forward to HoJo's waterpark. So it may not even matter.

No, you do not have to have the AP, in order to book the AP Rate! They won't even ask you if you have an AP! That will happen when you check in.:)

Thank you! I look forward to any special offers that may come up, too!

Has anything been released for January? I'm considering doing the same thing for the Star Wars half. I'm renting DVC for 3 out if 4 nights but there's no availability for the night of the race 1/17. I have a suite reserved at DLH because my mom really wants to stay at a Disney resort and there's 6 of us but one is an infant. If anyone could check 1/17 with the passholder rate, that would be great!

Can someone check what the AP rate would be for 12/6 to 12/14 (through the night of the 13th)? Thanks!

***ETA: Sorry, that would be for a standard room.

Did you want the PPH?:confused3

If so, for your dates: Dec.6th--14th, standard rooms are unavailable at the AP Rate.

There are Premium View Rooms available, at the PPH, for the AP Rate of $344.00(plus tax) per night.

At the DLH, there are standard rooms available at the AP Rate, for $347.75(plus tax) per night.:)

There will most likely be some sort of Fall discount -- there usually is (with the exception of 2012, when Cars Land opened and tons of people descended upon Disneyland Resort). There could be a version of the discount for AP holders, and a version of it for the general public, with slightly different rates for each.

In any case, the current round of discounts lasts through the end of September, so I don't expect that a discount covering October, November and early December will come out until at least mid-September, at the earliest, or early October, at the latest.

Yes indeed, Sherry!:thumbsup2

Most definitely waiting……and hoping…….for a Fall Discount, BUT…..not holding my breath(at least, that if one does appear, that it will be that great….although, any little bit helps!);)

I think you can be pretty certain that some sort of discount will pop up, but the "greatness" of it may be questionable, indeed!!:rotfl2::rotfl2: There have already been one or two discounts this year that were not-as-great as last year's Fall discounts, so that's a good omen to indicate there will be another discount coming up, but possibly a bad omen in terms of signaling that the discounts may not be great!

The only year in recent memory that hasn't seen any kind of discount (beyond the standard 10% discount for AP holders year-round) for the DLR hotels during Fall has been 2012 -- and that made sense, as there was an influx of visitors, so Disney needed to cash in on that and not give discounts when they didn't need to.

This year, there is nothing massive or major that is bringing in droves of people other than the usual holiday season -- so that is a good indicator that a discount will be on the horizon. I expect to see another discount after the current one cycles out (but, again, there could be different versions of it -- a better discount for AP holders, and another one for the general public).

Next year -- when we get into all of the 60th anniversary stuff -- however -- I'm not sure what the discount situation will look like.

Sorry about that. Yes, I wanted PPH. I bet it didn't show up because of the issue with the 6th and 7th again.

Thanks so much for looking!

You are most welcome, and I think you are right about the Candlelight dates/week-end.:confused3

I just played around with the dates, and it will let me book a Standard Room($347.75 plus tax, per night for PPH) for Dec.7th ---Dec.14th, but NOT the 6th ---the 14th!.

Aggravating!:sad2: Could you maybe lose a day at the beginning, and add a day at the end? If so, you are good to book now, and then just wait for the Fall Discount to call and adjust to the cheaper rate!

Would any Deluxe Annual Passport holders be able to tell me what (if any) discounts are available at the GCH for November 30 - December 4?

I'm trying to plan our last Disney vacation before we move out of state next summer and I'm trying to figure out if I can somehow justify an annual pass in the process.....If I can crunch the numbers and it works, it wouldn't have to be the last DLR vacation until we move!

Thanks in advance!

Right now, the discount for AP is 10% off :

Standard View is unavailable for your dates.
Woods-Courtyard View is $402.00 plus tax per night
Deluxe Partial View is $434.00 plus tax per night
Premium View is $487.00 plus tax per night
Downtown Disney View is $491.00 per night

I only saw the standard 10% discount being offered. The current Passholder offer only goes through 9/27.
