AP discounts ever available on suites

I have booked our September trip at Beach Club as of now but am thinking we need more space. This year, compared to others, I have found the choices with AP to be extremely slim pickings. I assume it is because of the multiple offers that have already been made for September. However, there is still alot of availability rack rate on the Disney site. It seems that most suites at deluxe resorts and Deluxe rooms at WL are still available, as well as many standard rooms, just not being offered at AP discount when I am going. As the day gets closer has anyone been able to snag a suite or deluxe room with an AP rate? I wondered if they may discount them if it is not booked by a certain date?

Funny when I booked 2 nights at WL (Aug) at AP rate (end of June) they had the “honeymoon suite” available at an AP rate also, but I was not brave enough to ask the cost.

The Sept discounts are gone now, except if you have a Disney Visa. There might even be a AAA rate avail, but that would be all. They don't discount as you get closer. The next group of discounts seem to be for Oct thru Dec.

If you already have a code, you might want to call and ask if it can be transferred, and yes, suites are included in the discounts if they are available.
