AP discount?

Where is the best place to buy APs? I have looked at TicketMania and Paramount, but they do not carry them. Is Disney's website the best value or would I have better luck going through Disney Club?

Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

Both the Disney website and the Disney Club will charge you for shipping. Your best bet would be to go to your local Disney Store and show them your DC card to get your discount. If you do not have a Disney Store nearby, you can also get the DC discount if you purchase your APs at the gate. There is no discount for purchasing them in advance unless you anticipate a price increase between now and when your trip is scheduled.

If you are going before Dec. of this year you can get them right at the ticket windows of the parks or the TTC & use your Disney Club discount.

If you are not going before then, then your best bet would be to get them at The Disney Store & use your Disney Club discount. You'll "order" the ticket, & pay for it when the voucher comes in. When you get to WDW you turn in the voucher. Your pass becomes active at the time you turn the voucher in - not when you purchased the voucher.

Another thought - if you purchase the AP's now (the vouchers) & the prices go up before your trip you will not have to pay the increased price.

We absolutely love the AP's - the flexibility is worth every penny of the cost.

Just to clarify a bit -

The only discount available for APs/PAPs is through the Disney Club. If you are a DC member, you can get the discount ahead of time at one of the Disney Stores, over the phone (but you will pay a $3.00 shipping charge) or onsite at the major parks or Downtown Disney Guest Relations booths.

The above applies to the "regular" APs/PAPs. I am not familar with the discounts that may or may not be available for the special Florida Resident passes.

You no longer have to order the AP voucher at TDS. The new ticket system in TDS has all ticket media including AP/PAP vouchers being done on the hard plastic media right in the store. The ticket is activated at the register upon purchase just as a gift card would be. You are then given the ticket (or voucher in the case of AP/PAP's) and two receipts. No more waiting for the voucher to come in and making a return trip to go get it.
