So my wife and I will stay at an offsite hotel when we get into town Saturday afternoon. We will check in to DLH on Tuesday. In conjunction with this trip, we were also planning on getting an signature passport AP. We were wondering, should we get the AP right away and forego an EMH while taking advantage of the discount? Or get a park hopper and enjoy and EMH and get our AP later in the trip. Thank you in advance:D

You'd get 1 MM at DL with a hopper. Will there be a DL MM while you're staying offsite?

MM is Tues, Thurs, and Sat most weeks. There are some exceptions, though. And Thanksgiving week is one of them. I am looking at 11/22 right now and see early entry for DL at 7am.

As to whether that is worth it, only you know. How much are you going to spend? Have any tours? Big dining expenses? You can of course upgrade after use on Sunday that isn't very long.

Edited for wrong day. :)

Ah so! Now I see the light. Thank you ArchOwl:D

Is Fantasyland important to you? If not, I would get the pass right away. If you are getting the signature, it will include PP photos (including ride photos). During DL MM/EMH only Fantasyland and Tomorrowland are open.
I do not put much value on Magic Morning and just start at rope drop at the park that is not having EMH/MM.

While a nice benefit, don't let EMH or something like that be the major factor. No big loss either way. Still have 12-18 hours to enjoy the park each and every day. None of the attractions are moving anywhere (well, except Star Wars buildout). Plenty to see and do.

If you're going to be going into the parks for the first time on Sunday, Nov 22, I would get a three-day park hopper ticket that is eligible for Magic Morning and then upgrade later that day. Then you'll be able to take advantage of the Magic Morning (which at DL includes parts of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland) and only have to hold off on making purchases for part of one day (or two if you were planning on going in the parks on Saturday). The thing with Magic Mornings/Extra Magic Hours is that you really need to be as close to the front of the ticket line as possible so you can get into the park as soon as it opens if you really want to experience the most benefit to that extra hour.

I agree and keep in mind that nearly half the park is closed during that time anyway.
