Hello fellow DISer's. We have an upcoming trip planned that I am making payment on. Wanted to find out if purchasing the AP would make us fair out better on this trip. CM told me that she couldn't check rates for the same dates without canceling my current reservation. I don't want to cancel this reservation until I can crunch the numbers. I won't actually purchase the AP's until arrival so therefore I cannot log into AP website to price. ??? Can someone who already has an AP check this out for me please? Our specifics are:

Party of 3 Adults + 13yr old child= Total 4.
Dates: Arrival 4-13-10
Departure 4-20-10

Resort of choice: Coronado Springs or Old Key West Resort

THanks in advance,(wishing pixie dust comes your way for helping me out)

The price for a standard room at CSR is $847
a studio at OKW $1,429 and I also had the WL pop up with OKW for woods view for $1432.

The should be able to check for you. I call often to see if an AP rate is avail for our stay in 2 weeks at WL. (currently booked with 40% off PIN woods view, we would like 45% AP or just a standard room) They check each time. Hope this helps you decide!

Also, the AP code is QIJ and the phone number is 407-939-1303 from the AP site. Maybe if you call that number you'll get a CM that will help you better. I don't know if all these phone numbers have a different group of CMs (different numbers for AP, PINs etc) Good Luck.

I phoned the Number that was listed above for AP and she gave me way higher quotes than this. Is this possible? I didn't mention any code other than to say I was going to purchase AP. I got quotes of Poly. GView $2898.29 and Saratoga Studio $1,689.17. No Coronado avail. except a 1BR suite at , get this $6.412.61!

Can someone else check for the coronado Sp. for the dates that I wanted or at least verify some of my quotes from the AP website please?

ALso, when a code is released(non AP), can u only get it by phone? No place to enter it online for quote?

Thanks in advance...

Pixie dust heading your way to the DIS'ers who offer to check for me.

965 for 3 adults and 1 13 yr. old. Yesterday I only priced with 2 adults. This is for Standard view CSR.

Garden view Poly same 3 A 1 C is $2,062. THESE ARE ROOM only nothing else.

AP reservations can be booked online through the AP part of the site-where the quote I'm getting is. The next step is to book the reservation. Apr 13-20,2010. the special on WDW site have to be booked through the link for the special then the price is as stated (discount/giftcard) otherwise it will price rack rate.

On wdw site using the GP link the price for your dates for CSR is $1,036 and avail. Why don't you go check the GP rates just to see.

Hi, I KNOW to book online at the AP site you need to enter your AP #. But when I call I just SAY I have an AP and would like to check rates. You CAN put a room on hold, they book it and you have a few weeks to make the 1 nite deposit or it will automatically cancel. (If that helps any :)) KEEP CALLING,you will get someone NICE that will help you !! Joan

Just realized my error. I put my dates incorrectly in my first post.

Dates are 3-13-2010 -till 3-20-2010 & not April. :(

(I can't believe I did that!)

NP i checked for you. I remember how frustrating it was to call the AP line and get wrong info all the time.
3/13-3/20
Coronado Springs & OKW: I am showing no availability at either.
The offers it gave me were:
Pop Standard room at $874
FW Cabins at $2984
AKL standard room at : $2305.

That is a really popular week looks like there aren't many discounted rooms left.

I searched as well and got a Pop preferred room for $761, standard room -71.
No availability for Coronado Springs.
OKW came up as 1,689 for a studio.

Can someone look on the Disney site with the 45% AP discount the following dates and resorts please, I don't have access to the AP members site because i'm not and AP, but I want to know how much the resort so then I can buy the AP.

Grand Floridian Resort (Garden View and Outer Lodge Club Level Room)
Boardwalk Inn (Standar View and Standar Club Level Room)

Thank you very much!!!!!!
is this with the 45% ?
it's a package that you have to put 200 deposit or it's a 1 night deposit ?

Yes, that's with the 45% AP rate.
I just booked my own personal AP rate vacation and the deposit was the cost of one night's stay, so I'm guessing these would be the same way.

thanks, I was asking because you add the dining plan and maybe that change the reservation to a package, did you book with the dining plan?

and do you know if I can make the reservation thru the phone and tell the cast member that i'm buying the AP later, do you think it will be possible?

Right now i booked the Boardwalk Inn with my 42% florida resident discount package, but a friend of mine is going and she will not buy the annual pass because she doesn't go very often, so the cast member told me to booked with my 42 %, tickets for both of us and the dining plan, and then I can go to any guest relations or concierge desk and upgrade only my ticket to an annual pass and I only pay like 100 for the difference because it's a florida resident annual pass, what do you think?

No I just booked the room so I'm unsure, but either way it looks like paying for 1 night is going to be close to $200. A litte more, but it shouln't break the bank either way.
And I honestly don't think they would give you the deal if you just tell them you plan on buying an AP because they have no way to hold you to that.

I say go for it, but either way I can't see how it would make a huge difference. 42% to 45% isn't a very big difference.
